Whitney decided to try out some fishing with Dad. She's so serious about it!
Then she moved on to helping Grandpa too!
Whitney loves her Grandma and Grandpa!
Friday night we watched the fireworks from our front yard. It was so nice to not have to drive anywhere and sit and wait. Reagan was in bed already, so the rest of us went outside and turned on the radio to listen to the music program. Whitney loved the music and the fireworks show. It's fun now that she's old enough to enjoy it! She especially likes the marching music.
Saturday morning we went to the Rexburg parade. We've never gone to that one before, so we (I) thought we'd try it out. We had a good spot right across from the park. It was good, but very long! Reagan slept through most of it. Whitney liked the candy, from what little she got! The other kids around us were very quick at grabbing the candy. She only got it if it practically happened to land in our laps! Here she is enjoying some taffy. She wanted to bring her red wagon to sit in, which worked out well!
One of our favorite parade entries was one with the sign:
If you can read this sign, thank a teacher. If you can read it in English, thank a Veteran.
The gang.

Oh to be able to sit in your yard and see fireworks . . . that must have been so nice. A parade too! I love the 4th!
Happy 4th to you! We went to meadow lake last summer for the first time and had a great time too. It is a beautiful place. Whitney is so cute!
Sounds like you guys had a good weekend. I bet it's fun to have Whitney old enough to enjoy things. Plus, Reagan seems to be pretty easy going and laid back.
Hi guys! Long time, no see, huh? Saw your blog on Lori's. How are you guys? Your family is adorable! Keep in touch!
